UK PRIVATE PILOT LICENCE

The UK Private Pilot Licence (UK) is a minimum 45 hour course comprising of dual instruction, supervised solo flight time, and theoretical knowledge.

PPL COURSE AT A GLANCE

PRACTICAL TRAINING

Minimum 45 hours flight time including minimum 25 hours of dual instruction with an instructor

SOLO FLYING

Minimum 10 hours supervised solo flying time including navigation and circuits

GROUND SCHOOL

1-1 sessions with your instructor throughout the course and dedicated provider for theory

EXAMINATIONS

9 theoretical multi-choice knowledge exams and a practical skills test

SOLO CROSS COUNTRY

One flight of at least 150nm landing at two aerodromes other than home aerodrome

LEARNING TO FLY

Your practical training covers the basics of flight and your first solo, through to navigation and emergency procedures.

You will complete your course with one of our experienced instructors.
