Black Friday Trial Lesson Deal

Take up our special Black Friday offer on our one hour trial flights. If you book a one hour trial flight with us on Black Friday, you will receive a gift package worth over £30 for free including a flying logbook, trial flight guide, keyring and gift box.

You will be greeted at our Deenethorpe base by one of our experienced flight instructors who will book you in and prepare you for your trial flight. The instructor will find out a bit about you to establish what you would like to get out of the trial flight and where you would like to go.

Family and friends are invited to listen in to your instructor's briefing if they wish, or they can grab a refreshment and watch from the balcony of the clubhouse at Deenethorpe Aerodrome.

After a comprehensive briefing, your instructor will walk you out to either our Aero AT3 (two-seat) or Piper PA28 (four-seat) aircraft where you will be familiarised with the layout and controls before heading off. You will be talked through the various checklists to get the aircraft ready to taxi.

At the discretion of your instructor, you will be given the opportunity to taxi the aircraft from our base to the runway and perform the take-off (under supervision of the instructor who will be ready to take over if necessary).

You will fly the aircraft out to the intended area (whether just local or to a location of your choice). Along the route, your instructor will show you the basics of flying an aircraft, including straight and level flight and turns.

Towards the end of your experience, your instructor will navigate you back towards Deenethorpe Aerodrome to prepare for landing. They will talk you down through the circuit and land back where you started.

After a short taxi back in to our base from the runway, you will be presented with a certificate for the completion of your flight experience. Family and friends will have the opportunity to take pictures of you with or without your instructor.

If you wish for the instructor to do the flying and you sit and enjoy your experience, simply let them know! We strive to make our flight experiences as customisable as possible so you enjoy and get the most out of it!

On our four-seat trial lessons, you have the option to add up to two additional passengers. This is dependent on weight and payload of the aircraft. If you would like to add additional passengers to your booking, please let us know when booking in your flying experience.
